Wood Buffalo
Family physicians in the Wood Buffalo Primary Care Network (PCN) have joined together with Alberta Health Services and other health professionals in the Fort McMurray area to better coordinate, and improve access to, the delivery of primary health services for their patients. Primary care is the first point of contact that a person has with the health system – the point where people receive care for most of their everyday health needs.
