Back to map of Alberta PCNs

updated July 2010

Family physicians in the Primary Care Networks (PCNs) join together with Alberta Health Services and other health professionals in their local communities to better coordinate, and improve access to, the delivery of primary health services for their patients. Primary care is the first point of contact that a person has with the health system – the point where people receive care for most of their everyday health needs.
